Rocca d'Ajello
This old medieval fortress lies near Camerino and is a wonderful location for weddings and corporate events. Rocca d’Ajello is an ancient dwelling that was once the residence of the Varano dukes, lords of Camerino, between 200 and 500.
The fortress stands on the top of a hill covered with woods within a mountainous landscape so pristine that is reminds of a Renaissance painting. Rocca d’Ajello has a wonderful garden and a courtyard, where you can dine outdoors in the light of torches on summer evenings between June and August.
Inside the fortress there is a large dining room made of sandstone with a barrel vault, which was once the armory of the castle and now offers a special atmosphere. This room can accommodate up to 250 seated people and can be lit with candles placed along the wall or on the tables. There is also another room that can accommodate up to 70 people.
Rocca d'Ajello is a location of enormous charm and offers unique historic scenarios: from the ancient garden adorned with large rose bushes to the breathtaking view of the hills of Marche and the masterfully renovated interiors. Celebrating an important event in this enchanted place means enjoying an experience that will get fixed in your mind and in that of your guests forever.
